Free Motion Quilting -

I am working on free motion quilting on my Domestic Sewing Machine. Every day!  I have always loved Pat Holly and her sister Sue Nickels, they are from the same town as I in Michigan.  They have won numerous awards of applique and free motion quilting.  I have been blessed of taking classes from both over the years.  True blessing, one class was given by a local sewing dealer and another was from a guild I belong.  The classes were affordable and totally amazing.   Sue Nickels has two great books available on free motion quilting, worth every penny.See them at her store http://www.sue-nickels.com/store.php?cat=3

They are the ones who inspired me to start free motion quilting.  I started and I stopped.  Life happens.  2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 I have many losses in my life.  2013 and 2014 had two major surgeries, hip replacement and knee replacement.  I am the product of my Mom and Dad, I am only in my 50's but my body is falling apart cause of my folks genes.  I may add, I have awful eyesight, so, I am slow at things, many would give up, not me.  I need to seek knowledge and enjoy the fiber arts.  I do things differently but I do create from time to time.  I am not a speed marathon quilter.  I do things slow and easy.

  1. I saw your comment on Amy's Free Motion site. Can you tell me where you ordered your free motion frame quilting feet and rulers please. Thanks and Happy Easter.
